Summary
Counterpart is seeking a Proposal Development Consultant to assist in the development of a DFID-funded project proposal to help Yemeni citizens advocate for better service delivery and more transparent policy-making and budgeting, as well as support representatives from excluded groups to become candidates in local, regional and parliamentary elections and advocate effectively for more inclusive and representative public bodies. Consultant support for this project will include providing guidance on DFID tenders, rules and regulations.
Statement of Work
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide donor guidance to Counterpart International. The consultant will advise Counterpart on DFID approaches and techniques related to civil society, as well as ensure that our technical and cost proposals are compliant with DFID rules and regulations. The consultant should have extensive experience responding to DFID tenders. In collaboration with a representative from Counterpart, the consultant will support the following activities, and others as assigned:
• Advise Counterpart on DFID approaches and techniques related to civil society and organizational development.
• Assist Counterpart with developing a technical approach and budget that is compliant with DFID rules and regulations.
